Our Story

Counselling for Christians (C4C) was set up by qualified counsellors

Tori and Ellie, following lots of prayer.

Both Ellie and Tori also work with clients in their own private practices who are

of other faiths or of none - Please contact them for further details.

In addition to their private practice work, and their work within C4C,

Ellie is also a school counsellor, and they are both volunteer counsellors with local charities;

general adult counselling (Ellie), and addiction counselling (Tori).

Ellie and Tori are both practising Christians, and therefore work with an understanding of life from a Christian perspective, including the unique struggles and strengths that this can bring.

The C4C aspect of their work offers clients a space where client and counsellor can choose to pray together, and welcome God into the counselling space, if clients would like this.

Sessions are not "preachy", and neither Tori nor Ellie are bible scholars. What they offer is empathy, honesty, care, acceptance and a non-judgemental, safe space.

If clients are looking for biblical teaching, they will signpost to qualified theologians.

Ellie and Tori describe themselves as doing "real", with no expectations or assumptions, no condemnation, but plenty of love and compassion.
